Before Pretty Lights came on, before Big Gigantic got huge, there was DEAD P.A. The nationally touring electronic dance music duo doesn't just perform the club rhythms typically associated with DJ culture - they pioneered live EDM with onstage use of vocals, keyboards, percussion, MIDI gear, and crazy costumes to countless electronic music genres long before the Ableton era.

While core members established themselves onstage in the mid and early 90's, DEAD P.A. kicked off their very first performance in 2003 as an opening act for a Dita Von Tease Burlesque show and has since earned a reputation for frenetic performances aquiring bookings across the four corners of the United States.

Among the many events the act has taken on are Wakarusa, Guitar Hero 3 stage headliner @ SXSW, BayFest in Mobile, Alabama, Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Winter Music Conference, Devil's Night Las Vegas, and even a few comic book/cosplay conventions.

Core members of DEAD P.A. include Jason Walsh and Jordan Kolar while frequent collaborative and performance duties are supplied by soulful songbird Krystal Hardwick, and producer and MC Levon Louis.

DEAD P.A. has a history of crazy bios appearing on flyers. Below is a smattering of some that have appeared on flyers and fan favorites...

You don't really care what famous names have played the same events across the nation as DEAD P.A. You don't want to hear our epic volumes of biographical chatter and you probably already know how to use a search engine to find rude photos of us - so let's just cut to the chase, shall we? What you really want to know is whether or not we really made a deal with the devil to facilitate the deliciously killer tunes we make. The truth is, we simply beat him 2 out of 3 at a game of rock, paper, scissors. See you at the show.

After the rave apocalypse of 2001 a dark era descended over the nation of EDM. Many brave DJs were claimed by the "bro" plague or swept away by evil marauding gangs of insane leper go-gos. From the ashes of a million sound systems and countless flyers, DEAD P.A. rose - a fusion of genres forged in the heart of bass and tempered with zeal. And so it was. Many champions came and went but DEAD P.A. would not... NAY, could not stop. Strengthened by the never ending movement of feet on the dancefloor across the country DEAD P.A. returns to Shreveport to rally with the few remaining true warriors of rhythm!

For thousands of years DEAD P.A. has delivered nothing short of the finest cuts of half-truths and non-dairy creamers that have compelled audiences and bunny rabbits alike to spontaneously giftwrap, paustuerize, and even commit random acts of non-violent poetic terrorism. Their critcally acclaimed scrapbook collection stormed the EDM community fostering much of what considered to be the first known "killer" parties during the Spanish Inquisition. The DEAD P.A. club anthem "e PLURibus unum" was actually put into print on a nation's currency during the height of it's popularity. The act has played alongside distinguished names that are far too vacuous to mention.

"If I were a Gambling man (and I am), I'd wager they were time travellers - but I still wouldn't bet against DEAD P.A." - Mark Twain

"Society cannot exist without the conflict of freedoms amongst individuals nevertheless, DEAD P.A. always rocks everybody's socks." - John Locke

"Billions upon Billions of stars populate the cosmos and on this tiny blue planet on the edge of the milky Way we were granted one of the brightest in DEAD P.A." - Carl Sagan

"The spirit of DEAD P.A. in life before thee their will shall overshadow thee Thy feet cannot be still" - Edgar Allan Poe

"DEAD P.A. produces a kind of pleasure which human nature cannot do without." - Confucious

I don't know who you are. I don't know what genre you want. If you are looking for a DJ, I can tell you I don't have turntables. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long EDM career. Skills that make me a revelation for people like you. If you play my music now, that'll only be the beginning of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will rock you.
